Loyal is an innovative clinical-stage veterinary medicine company on a mission to help dogs live longer and healthier lives through the development of groundbreaking drugs. With significant progress towards FDA approval for the first lifespan extension drug for any species, we currently have three exciting products in our pipeline, aiming for FDA conditional approval in the coming year.
As a well-funded startup in a transformative phase of growth, we are looking to build a talented team of scientists, veterinarians, engineers, operators, and creatives. The role of Veterinary Clinical Development Expert is essential in driving our growth strategies and making a meaningful impact.
We seek an experienced professional to manage the veterinary medical operations of clinical trials across Loyal's drug programs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Medical Monitoring: Monitor ongoing clinical trials with a solid understanding of pharmacology and toxicology, demonstrating clinical skills in evaluating medical observations and lab findings.
- Advisory Role: Provide guidance to research monitors and clinical operations leaders, facilitating informed decisions that support clinical investigators and study teams.
- Data Analysis: Analyze R&D data to enhance the execution of clinical trials and leverage findings for optimal results.
- Protocol Mastery: Become proficient in the protocols and procedures of current clinical trials, contributing to the development of innovative aging drugs for dogs from preclinical studies through to securing full FDA CVM approval.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide veterinary insights that connect R&D, drug development, and clinical operations, advising teams with relevant veterinary knowledge.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous records to ensure precision in medical monitoring, clinical data review, and regulatory documentation.
- Compliance: Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and FDA CVM regulations.
- Travel: Be prepared for occasional travel as required.
The competitive salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $160,000.
